ABOUT
Before being drafted into the NFL in 2014, I earned my Bachelor's and Master’s degrees in Communication Management from the University of Southern California (USC). Before that, I was a High School All American and top 10 high school football prospect.
I worked just as hard in the classroom as I did on the football field, maintaining a 3.9 GPA at Desert Vista High School and a 3.8 GPA at USC (earning Pac-12 All-Academic second-team in both 2010 and 2011). Ultimately, I became one of only a handful of players in the NFL to have already earned an undergrad and masters degree by the time I was drafted into the National Football League.
Throughout my academic experience and with the help of some great mentors, I developed a deeper and deeper passion for real estate investing and passive income strategies. Today, I live that passion, with a real estate portfolio of over 20 properties, 30 syndication investments and my own private lending company.
Passing on to others what I’ve learned (and am still learning) is very important to me . To that end, in addition to my book It All Adds Up and social media content, I also provide financial guidance and mentorship to NFL players and to youth via philanthropic and charitable work promoting education and financial literacy. I was recognized for that philanthropy in 2019 with a nomination for the Walter Payton Man of the Year Award.
Find ways to impact the youth has always been a passion of mine but specifically teaching them financial literacy and giving them a chance at financial success in their life!
There is nothing more important to me than my beautiful wife, Camille, and our two amazing daughters. They give my life incredible purpose and are the greatest blessings I could ask for. My drive to never stop improving my own financial literacy, to continue building my real estate portfolio (and the “mailbox money” it generates), and ultimately to create generational wealth that will live on well beyond me, is wholeheartedly inspired by - and for - them.
My passion for passive income is born directly from a desire to see my family cared for over the long term. The realization that their financial stability is being reinforced with each successful investment, brings me peace of mind that makes every bit of hard work, the extra hours grinding, and all the energy spent creating this life, worthwhile.
